Vegetables in winter? You bet! Here in Santa Clara County with our Mediterranean climate we can grow a wide variety of vegetables year round. And with natural irrigation (rain), and fewer weeds and pests.
Join UC Master Gardener Karen Schaffer to learn about the wide variety of vegetables that thrive in our cool season: broccoli, kale, peas, lettuce, and many more.
After the talk we will have an informal seed and plant exchange so if you have any extra seeds you’ve saved or plants you’d like to send to a good home do bring them.
