2018 Summer Flower Cutting and Arranging Workshop – San Jose

Do you Enjoy beautiful flower arrangements? Come join us for a workshop where you will learn how to cut and arrange flowers for beautiful table arrangements and bouquets. We will show you how to cut your flowers so they continue to bloom throughout the season, and then how to create beautiful centerpieces with them that will brighten up your home and your day!
Presenter: UC Master Gardener Nella Henninger
Bring: Bring scissors or pruning shears, and a container for your arrangement; we will supply the flowers! Participants should wear closed-toed shoes, layered clothing and a hat as the class is held outdoors. A refillable water bottle, notebook and writing implements are recommended. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to park and sign in. Please note: the park charges $6.00 for parking, or you can park on Chynoweth Avenue near Vauxhall Circle for free.
Cost: There is no fee for the class, but the Park charges $6 for parking. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Master Gardener parcel.
Sign Up: There is no fee to attend this class, but class size is limited to 15 registered participants for each class, one class per person. If the class is full, there are additional classes on August 4, and September 1, also from 10:00–12:00 a.m. To register, please use this online form.
