Apricots on tree
This course meets on Mondays from 7-9pm on 1/28, 2/4 and 2/11, 2019

It’s no wonder the Santa Clara Valley was once known for its acres of fruit orchards—our mild Mediterranean climate allows us to grow a dazzling variety of tree fruit

This course stresses how sustainable gardening practices such as efficient watering methods, integrated pest management and use of organic fertilizers and soil amendments apply to establishing and growing pome fruits  (including apples & pears), and stone fruits (including apricots, cherries, peaches, nectarines, and plums). Registration is limited to 20 participants.

Presenter: UC Master Gardeners

Cost: $60 Registration required.
