Aeonium tabuliforme, Dinner Plate Aeonium
Compact flat rosette of overlapping leaves. Needs excellent drainage. Pale yellow flowers after 3–4 years. No water. 6" x 18". Hardy to 32°F

Agave americana ‘Variegata’, American Agave/Century Plant
Gray-green foliage with thin yellow to white stripes along the leaf margins. Tall flower stalk blooms after 15 yrs. Full sun. Occasional water. 2' x 2'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Agave desmettiana ‘Variegata’, Variegated Smooth Agave
Upright growth in an urn shape with smooth variegated leaves. Occasional water. 2–4' x 3–4'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Agave lophantha ‘Quadricolor’, Quadricolor Century Plant
6–12" dark green leaves edged with yellow and a pale green midstripe. Reddish teeth flush red in bright light. As with all Agaves, keep drier in winter. Sun/bright light. 12–18" x 2'. Hardy to 10–15°F

Agave parryi, Parry's Agave
Gray-green leaves, darker tip, indentations on back. Spectacular flower after 10–25 years, then offsets replace it. Full sun. Low water. 2' x 2–3'. Hardy to -5°F

Agave vilmoriniana, Octopus Agave
A very unusual looking succulent with narrow green leaves that twist back towards the ground, making it look like a 4-foot tall and wide octopus with outreaching tentacles. Occasional water. 3–4' x 3–4'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Aloe arenicola, Sand Aloe
Spotted, creeping aloe. Long slender leaves with small white spots. White teeth thicken with age. Full sun. Low water. 1–2' x 2–4'. Hardy to 25–30°F

Aloe aristata, Lace Aloe
Dense rosettes of stubby dark-green leaves, soft white teeth. 20" stalk with orange-red flowers in fall. Clumping. Sun/part shade. Low water. 4–5" x 8–10". Hardy to 20°F

Aloe ‘Blue Elf’
Blue-green leaves with toothed edges. Orange flower spikes in winter. Water 1/month in summer. Hot sun and shade okay. Low/occasional water. 18" x 2'. Hardy to 15°F

Aloe brevifolia, Short Leaved Aloe
Rosettes of gray leaves that build up on each other to form a clump. 16-24" spikes of orange tubular flowers. Sun. Low water. 1' x 1–2'. Hardy to 25–30°F

Aloe ‘Coral Fire’
Dark green with white dashes on upper and lower surfaces. Coral-colored margins and teeth darken with age and are particularly showy when backlit. While they look wicked, they are actually soft to the touch. Sun/part shade. Low water. 1' x 2'. Hardy to 25–30°F

Aloe spinosissima
Leaves are edged with small spines. Unbranched stalk of red flowers in winter. Clumping. Sun/part shade. Low water. 2–3' x 2–4'. Hardy to 25°F

Aloe striata , Coral Aloe
Large rosettes with broad, flat pale gray-green leaves that vary in color. In hot full sun the foliage is pinkish, and in more shaded spots they are often bluish-green. Sun or light shade. Low water. 2' x 2'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Ceropegia woodii, String of Hearts
Trailing succulent, evergreen, heart-shaped leaves with pink undersides, and upright, pink, tubular flowers. Part/full sun. Low water. 2" x trailing. Hardy to 25°F

Cotyledon orbiculata ‘Macrantha’, Pig's Ear
Shrubby succulent with paddle-shaped, light green leaves edged with red. Showy red flowers in winter-spring. Part sun. Low water. 2–3' x 2–3'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Crassula arborescens ssp. undulatifolia, Ripple Jade
Compact. Waxy blue-green leaves flush at rippled edges with stress. Will form a dense, mounding shrub. Full sun/part shade. Low water. 1–3' tall. Hardy to 20–25°F

Crassula capitella ‘Campfire’, Campfire Plant
Mat-forming plant with fleshy propeller-like leaves that turn from bright lime-green to bright red. Sun. Low water. 6" x 3'. Hardy to 20°F

Crassula multicava, Fairy Crassula
Neatly growing evergreen with white flowers in spring or fall. Good for challenging areas. Hardly needs watering. Shade/filtered shade. Low water. 1' high, spreading. Hardy to 20–25°F

Bluish-gray leaves on a very short stem. Spring flowers are small and greenish in color. Sun/part shade. Low water. 5" tall. Hardy to 20-25°F

Crassula ovata ‘Hummel's Sunset’
Glossy oval leaves on thick woody branches. Leaves turn golden yellow with red edges in full sun. Sun. Low water. 1–3' x 1–2'. Hardy to 20°F

Drosanthemum floribundum, Ice Plant
Glittery fine leaves with pink flowers. Ideal for tough areas with little care. Sun/part shade. Occasional water. 6" high, spreading. Hardy to 20–25°F

Dudleya gnoma, Munchkin Liveforever
Clumps of 2" wide rosettes. Leaves are green, waxy, red-tinged and powdery. Flower stalk 5" tall in May. Sun/part sun. Low water. 2" x 2", clumping. Hardy to 25°F

Dyckia, Sawblade
Broad rosette of sawtooth edged leaves. Although drought tolerant, they thrive on frequent watering while actively growing. Full sun. Low water. 1' x 1'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Echeveria harmsii, Plush Plant
Branched with rosettes of narrow, light green hairy leaves with red edges. Bright orange, bell-shaped flowers with golden throats. Part sun/shade. Low water. 12" x 12". Hardy to 25°F

Fast growing mounds of individual rosettes to nearly 1 foot across. Bright orange and yellow flowers rise above the foliage on tall arching inflorescence, usually in late summer or fall. Part sun/shade. Low water. 1' x 1'. Hardy to 25–30°F

Echeveria sp., Ruffled Echeveria
Ruffled, fleshy gray-green rosettes and a soft red edging that is more intense in full sun. Red-orange flowers appear on tall stalks in late summer. Part sun/shade. Low water. 2' x 2'. Hardy to 30°F

Euphorbia mauritanica, Pencil Milk Bush
Rounded shrub, densely branched. Branches are cylindrical with bright yellow inflorescence. Leaves are deciduous. Full sun. Occasional water. 3' x 3'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Gasteria acinacifolia, Giant Gasteria
Dark green leaves with small, raised white dots. Arching stalk of orange & green tubular bell flowers in summer. Shade/part sun. Moist in winter. 1–2' x 1–2'. Hardy to 20–25°F

Gasteria spp., Ox Tongue
Tongue-shaped leaves covered by a series of white, warty outgrowths producing a sandpaper-like texture. Part sun/shade. Low water. 7" x 2'. Hardy to 25°F

Geranium x oxonianum ‘Miss Heidi’
Accent for succulents. Colorful pink flowers for rock gardens, mixed borders. Sun/part shade. Avg–low water. 12" x 14". Hardy to 25°F

Haworthia attenuata, Zebra Plant
Dark green leaves, pointed and strikingly banded or spotted with white with varying amounts of white. Tubercles are "patterned" on the upper surface of the leaves. White flowers. Shade/bright sun. Low water. 6" x 6". Hardy to 25°F

Kalanchoe luciae, Paddle Plant
Clam shell-shaped basal rosette. Leaves are covered with a gray bloom and leaf margin takes a reddish hue during cooler winter months if grown in bright light; otherwise leaves remain uniformly green. Yellow flowers. Sun/part shade. Low water. 1–2' x 2–3'. Hardy to 25°F

Synadenium grantii, African Milk Bush
Grown for its tropical look. Leaves change from green to burgundy depending on sun/light exposure. As all plants in the Euphorbia family, milky sap can cause skin irritation. Keep away from pets. Light sun/shade. Low water. 8–12' x 6–8'. Frost tender

Tradescantia zebrina
Flowers bloom intermittently throughout the year. Pinch to maintain compact plant. Dry between waterings. Shade/part sun. Moderate water. Trailing. Frost tender.
