Lady beetle artichoke, Candace Simpson

In our Mediterranean climate, late winter and early spring are a fine time to plant a final round of cool season crops. Root and leaf veggies grow fast in the lengthening and warming days of Bay Area spring. Master Gardeners will demonstrate how to plant both seeds and seedlings with minimal disturbance of wet soils, and how to deal with any springtime pests and weeds that have shown up. March is also time to show our citrus trees some love after the chill and wet of winter. We will be pruning and fertilizing our two citrus trees. Come join us!
