Container gardening is perfect for those with limited space, poor soil, or no ground to plant. Master Gardener Ann Ranish will discuss some requirements unique to container gardening, including types of containers, soil to use, location, fertilizer, watering, maintenance, and what can be grown in containers.
Schedule of events:
- 10–10:45 am — Garden Talk in the McClellan Ranch Community Garden
- 10:45 am — Tour of the community garden and UC Master Gardener demonstration garden. UC Master Gardeners will be available to answer garden questions.
Note: Please bring a chair, water, and hat.
