UC Santa Clara County Master Gardener volunteer Barbara Fraser will join us for a talk on Growing Ferns and Other Shade-Loving Plants. She will discuss the anatomy of ferns, how they propagate, and their cultural requirements. Barbara will also discuss our local shady garden characteristics and specific ornamental plants and ferns that thrive in the shade and can be successfully grown in our environment. Lastly, she will provide additional references and sources of information.
