Event Request
Request Master Gardener Support for an Event
Would you like UC Master Gardeners at your next event? If you are having an event that would attract people interested in gardening, we may be able to help.
When we support an event, we always provide an information table.
Optionally, we can provide a children's activities table.
An information table consists of at least two UC Master Gardeners providing information about what we do, introducing our Help Desk and website, and answering gardening related questions.
A children's activities table consists of one or more UC Master Gardeners providing hands-on activities pertinent to the season such as planting seeds, making ladybug rocks, or using gardening related stamps.
Note: If you're looking for a speaker instead of an information table, please go to our Speaker Request page.
Please keep in mind:
- We would like a 4-week notice for an event request.
- We may not be able to fill requests for April without a 6-week notice due to the high volume of requests that month.
- Due to the number of requests we receive, we regret that we cannot fill requests for groups of less than 15 people.
