Event Details

Learn what to do in winter and early spring to keep your fruit trees healthy. Common diseases and insect pests, as well as control measures for them will be discussed. Some very basic principles of pruning with pictures will be shown. Tips on selecting and planting new trees will also be covered. After the presentation, fruit tree pruning demonstrations will be given at the Master Gardener South County Teaching and Demonstration Garden across from the Animal Shelter.
