Learn how to create a bee garden to provide habitat in your own yard for these important pollinators. This talk will introduce the most common types of native bees in our area and provide instruction for planting natives and herbs that attract them.
Having a bee garden is rewarding. It is great fun to watch your garden come alive with bees buzzing from flower to flower collecting nectar and pollen.
Presented by UC Master Gardener Cynthia Butler.
This talk coincides with the library's exhibit “Pollinators: Keeping Company with Flowers,”
which runs from July 18 through September 16.
